REGISTERED CLASSES

CLASS 22 - CLYDESDALE/SHIRE
CLASS 23 - PERCHERON
CLASS 24 - BELGIAN

Prizes:
1st-$45, 2nd-$35, 3rd-$30, 4th-$25, 5th-$20, 6th to 10th-$15.

SECTION
01. Filly or colt foaled in 2008.
02. Brood Mare: mare that shows evidence of being in foal or has raised a foal during the current year. The exhibitor is required to show the mare with foal at foot or registration certificate of foal provided if the foal is not shown.
03. Yearling filly or colt foaled in 2007.
04. Special: Ontario Bred and Sired Belgian Yearling Filly Class. Fillies from a mare owned by a resident in the Province of Ontario at the time of service and sired by a stallion owned and standing in the Province of Ontario at the time of service. The owner must be a member of the Ontario Belgian Horse Association for the current year. For 2008 the fillies must have been nominated with the OBHA by January 31, 2008. A certificate bearing the name, registration number and pedigree will be issued to owners for each filly nominated. This certificate must be available at ringside for the filly to be eligible to compete. It will be the sole responsibility of the exhibitor to have the certificate signed by the judge with the placing awarded at the fair. The prize money will be paid to each exhibitor by the Ontario Belgian Horse Association following the final class, which will be held at the Royal Winter Fair. $300 is donated by the Ontario Belgian Association and $100 is donated by the Brooklin Spring Fair

06. Filly foaled in 2005.
07. Yeld Mare.
08. Progeny of Dam: two animals any age, the progeny of one dam. Each animal must have been shown in its appropriate single section if offered. Both animals must be owned by the exhibitor and registered in the exhibitor's name.

02. Heavy draft mare or gelding

03. Single Hitch - all draft breeds hitched to a suitable vehicle (or cart)
1st-$30, 2nd-$26, 3rd-$23, 4th-$23, 5th-$23 6th to 10th-$23.
04. Light Draft Team - Hitched
1st-$70, 2nd-$60, 3rd-$55, 4th-$50, 5th-$45, 6th to 10th-$45.
05. Heavy Draft Team - Hitched
1st-$70, 2nd-$60, 3rd-$55, 4th-$50, 5th-$45, 6th to 10th-$45.

CLASS 28 - COMMERCIAL HORSE

03. Single commercial heavy

04. Team commercial light
1st-$70, 2nd-$60, 3rd-$55, 4th-$50, 5th-$45, 6th to 10th-$45.
05. Team commercial heavy

CLASS 29 - UNICORN HITCH
Open to all breeds $75 per entry

CLASS 30 - FOUR HORSE HITCH SECTION
01. Belgian and Percheron $75 per entry
02. Commercial, Clydesdale Shire $75 per entry
Unicorn and Four Horse Hitch should have someone accompany the driver.

CLASS 31 - SPECIAL YOUTH SHOWMANSHIP
Youth 18 years and under showing a Draft or Commercial horse on the line. A youth showing a Belgian will receive points towards the Ontario Belgian Horse Association Junior Showmanship Points Program. Stallions ONE year and over may not be used.
All entrants will receive $10.00.
Class to be Split -- Junior ~ 7 - 13 years Senior ~14 - 18 years

CLASS 32 - SPECIAL - JR. DRIVING
Youth 18 years and under driving a team.
1st-$25, 2nd-$20, 3rd-$15, 4th-$15, 5th-$15.

1. Two entries per section per exhibitor.
2. Where numbers of entries are not sufficient for individual Hitch classes - 3. breeds may be combined.
