Join us all weekend at the “Outdoor Stage” for a refreshing beverage and to sit down and enjoy some live music inside of our licensed area.

The Outdoor Stage located in the South end of the grounds near the track. It’s the best place to meet up with old friends, take a load off, and relax out of the Sun.

There are multiple musical acts to choose from from upbeat country music in the evening to live acoustic entertainment in the afternoons for the whole family!

Birds of Prey

Each year the Brooklin Agricultural Society welcomes the Canadian Raptor Conservatory to come and provide education about the many ‘Birds of Prey” that reside in our great country!

Education and Entertainment combined at each of their shows over the weekend (and an added bonus of control over less desire birds such as seagulls!).

Kids Pie Dive

You've watched adults have fun with pie for years and now its your turn! Dive into whipped cream to find the treats buried inside to beat the clock and your competitors! We are looking for 12 kids who love a laugh and don't mind getting messy (don't worry mum and dad, it isn't too messy!) If this sounds like you, register ahead of time as space will be limited.

Spectators welcome to come out the day of to cheer on the pie divers.

Kids Pie Dive Competition Rules:

1. Must be 5-12 years of age to enter.
2. Parent and/or guardian must sign Hold Harmless on site.
3. Timed event.
4. Competitor who can transfer the most candy with minimal whip cream wins.

Teen Mini-Pie Madness

Are you between the ages of 13-17? Come join us for the NEW ultimate teen pie-eating battle, Teen Mini-Pie Madness! Teens will compete head to head plowing into petite pies. Space is limited so don't delay!
Teen Mini-Pie Madness Rules:

Must be 13-17 years of age to enter
Parent and/or guardian must sign Hold Harmless in advance (locations and times to follow) or on site. NO REGISTRATIONS FOR THIS AGE GROUP WILL BE ACCEPTED DAY OF UNLESS PARENT IS PRESENT TO SIGN HOLD HARMLESS, ID may be requested to confirm
First person to finish their mini-pie wins, top 3 receive ribbons.
All evidence of mini-pie must be gone.
Mini-Pies must be eaten in more than ONE bite. Anyone putting more than half of the mini-pie in their mouth at once will be automatically disqualified.

No entry fee, Pre-registration is required! Closes May 25th! Spaces limited!

RULES:

Each competitor will sing one song, solo, on stage, in front of the judges. All songs must be expletive free (i.e. radio version).
Maximum of four minutes per participant.
Registration is first come, first serve, maximum 16 participants. All participants will be confirmed by email or phone.
Following registration, all participants will receive information by email with specific instructions on how to submit their song choice and the accompaniment they will be using. Participants can sing along with a karaoke track or accompany themselves with their own portable instrument such as a guitar, ukulele, mandolin, fiddle or banjo. If using a karaoke track there can be no vocals on it except for background harmonies.
No song changes after May 25, 2026.
Only 2 restarts will be allowed per performer - no exceptions.
Arrive 15 minutes before your divisions assigned performance time. We will confirm times with participants on day of performance.
Judges’ decision is final.
Judging will be based on singing quality, performance and originality.
Placing other than Top 3 will not be disclosed.
Cash prizes for 1st, 2nd & 3rd places. Ribbons for all others.
The Brooklin Spring Fair will not tolerate disrespectful behavior by performers or their entourage. This will result in being asked to leave and a risk of disqualification.

NOTE: Contestants under the age of 9 wishing to participate in the competition will be considered for entry on a case by case basis, please contact the Chairperson directly.

Open to children 12 years and under who wishing to exhibit their favourite teddy bear.
NO Entry Fee Required.
Each exhibitor may enter only 2 categories and one bear per category.
Each category must be a different bear.
Teddy Bear must be shown by the registered exhibitor.
Each exhibitor will receive a ribbon.
Entries taken from 11:30 am till 12:00 noon
Late comers may be turned away.

Pedal Tractor Pull

SATURDAY June 7, 2025 - 4:30 pm in the Expo Hall (Arena)

Registration/Check-in begins at 4:00 pm

No Entry Fee - Online entries close June 2nd, day of registrations accepted on site.

Rules:

The individual must be able to pedal the tractor without assistance.
Pedal tractors whether supplied or brought by the participant must be in proper repair and are subject to inspection. No modifications such as changes to driveline components will be eligible to pull.
No motorized tractors (fuel driven or electric/ battery powered) will be eligible to pull.
Pedal tractors must be metal/ diecast.
All contestants must be wearing proper footwear and in proper form.
All contestants will be given 3 chances to get the sled moving once the sled is past 5 feet no restarts will be permitted.
The pulling tractor must stay in its pulling lane.
Should the competitor leave the pulling lane the distance will be measured from beginning to where the first tire crossed the line.
In the case of a tie there will be a pull off to determine the winner.
Both genders age 4-12 are eligible to enter.
The judge's decision will be final for all pulls.
All contestants must be present by the time of the pedal pull with a completed Hold Harmless stating Brooklin Agricultural Society will not be accountable for financial loss or hardship due to accidental injury.
Participation will be granted on a first come first served basis and could be limited.
All children must be accompanied by a parent or guardian.
Brooklin Agricultural Society reserves the right to disqualify any individual for behavioural misconduct or parental dispute

Prizes: $10 for first place in each class.

Mullet Competition

Business in the front, party in the back! Think you’ve got the best mullet in town? Join us for our first annual Brooklin Spring Fair Mullet Competition!

SATURDAY, June 6, 2026 - 12:30 pm in the Arena

(check-in/day of registration between 11:30 and 12:00 at the sign in table beside the Main Stage in the arena. Space is limited and will be filled on a first come, first served basis)

You might be asking “But what is a mullet? How do I know if I’ve got one?” A mullet is a hairstyle in which the hair is cut short at the front and sides, but left long in the back.

The Rules

All Mullets must be grown by the participant. No wigs, no extensions, no fake hair of any kind will be accepted.
In addition to being on stage with all competitors in your age category you will be given 30 seconds to complete an individual stage walk to show off your awesome mullet.
Come stage presence ready. Costumes and extra flair are encouraged but not required.
No vulgar language or explicit activities.

Judging Criteria

All mullets will be judged on these four criteria. The individual with the highest combined score will be declared the winner.

Size: the overall length, width, and density (fullness) of the hair
Hair Style: the graduation, taper, grooming, symmetry of the hair style
Presentation: how the style fits the individual and compliments their overall style
Audience Reaction / Dazzle: stage presence, personality, how the hairstyle is portrayed on stage, 30 second stage walk

2026 Theme: “Barnyard Boogie”

The Brooklin Spring Fair Committee is proud to be organizing this year’s parade celebrating the 115th Anniversary of the Brooklin Spring Fair.

Last Fair, along with all the parade participants we created another exciting and memorable parade.

The Brooklin Spring Fair has many traditions and the parade is definitely one of the highlights. Many volunteer hours go into the planning and preparation of the parade to ensure that it continues to grow and reflect the many long standing traditions established over the years.

Keeping this in mind, we would like to invite you or your group to be a part of this year’s parade. You may consider entering a decorated float from a group to walk the route, dress up or provide your idea to us– we simply ask that you participate! The theme “Barnyard Boogie” is sure to be a hit with all ages. We anticipate many creative and FUN ideas to be reflected in this year’s community parade

Due to the speed bumps along Cassels Road we advise parade entrants to ensure that parade participants riding on floats or trailers or vehicles please remain seated throughout the entire parade but please be especially cautious while the parade travels along the Cassels Road portion of the route.
