2023 Parade Grand Marshalls
This years grand marshals are…Ron and Maureen Jackson.
The Jackson’s are a Brooklin farming family and heavily involved in the Brooklin community. Ron and Maureen took over the Jackson Family Farm on Columbus Road in 1983. Farming beef cattle, lamb, and crops. The Jackson Farm dates back to 1926 when the farm was a dairy farm.
Ron and Maureen have many years of volunteer service including Durham Farm connections, Brooklin Optimist Club, Girl Guides of Canada, Brooklin United Church and the Brooklin Spring Fair just to name a few.
Over the years both Ron and Maureen have participated and helped organize many fair events. Including home craft, live stock shows, arena events, parking, etc. Once they had children they made sure that they to were involved in the fair.
