2024 Parade Grand Marshalls
This years grand marshals are…Anne Marie and Eldon Werry.
Eldon Werry joined the Brooklin Spring Fairboard in 1978 after being asked by his uncle, Alf Jackson, if he would like to be a junior director.
In 1985, Anne Marie joined Eldon on the fairboard and for years the two of them worked together on various committees. Eldon was President twice during his 45 years of being involved. Anne Marie was Secretary/Treasurer for 20 years.
They also volunteered with Durham West 4-H and Kedron Park Association, where their children were involved in many sports. Anne Marie kept busy within their church volunteering as well.
They are very proud that their children; Maria, Sarah and Dan have caught the bug to volunteer!! 4-H and Brooklin Spring Fair have benefitted from their love of being involved and helping others!
Retirement from dairy farming has allowed the two to be able to lend a hand where needed with their families. They are especially happy to be back at Brooklin Spring Fair meeting up with old director friends and helping Sarah organize the Back Forty for Fair weekend.
