2026 Parade Grand Marshalls

The Brooklin Spring Fair is proud to recognize Len and Karen Waltham as the 2026 Grand Marshals, an honour that reflects their decades of dedication, leadership, and hands-on support within the fair community.

Both Len and Karen have been long-time volunteers and passionate supporters of the Brooklin Spring Fair, contributing their time and energy across countless areas over the years. Their commitment has helped shape the fair into the vibrant and successful event it is today.

Len has worn many hats throughout his years of service. From running the antique tent to assisting with the fairgrounds operations, his willingness to step in wherever needed has never gone unnoticed. Len served as President of the fair in 2006–2007, later taking on the important role of Treasurer for multiple years. Even today, Len remains a familiar face around the fair—organizing ribbons, putting up signs, or lending a hand fixing the fair phone whenever needed.

Karen’s contributions have been just as impactful. With a strong passion for community engagement and education, Karen has played an integral role in Homecraft and Education Day She has supported key areas such as Homecraft. She also played an important role in organizing the volunteer appreciation dinner—ensuring those who give their time feel valued. Karen served as President in 2012–2013, leading with dedication and enthusiasm. Fairgoers can still find her lending a hand in the Back 40, continuing her tradition of service.

Together, Len and Karen exemplify the spirit of community that lies at the heart of the Brooklin Spring Fair. Their tireless efforts, leadership, and passion make them truly deserving of this year’s Grand Marshal honour.

Congratulations, Len and Karen!
